The #RestartScheme ribbon cuttings continue as we have today officially opened our new office in Reading! The event gave us the opportunity to showcase the wonderful work our people have been doing recently to support an average of one customer per day into a sustainable job. Councillor Jason Brock, Leader of Reading Council, kindly opened the office for us. He said: “Reading is a town of tremendous business success and, in spite of the pandemic, that success has created a job market where it’s a huge challenge for some to get their foot in the door. “We know that there are parts of Reading with entrenched economic inequalities and persistently higher unemployment levels contributing to the town being one of England’s most unequal places.
