A new book on improving delivery – Employer Engagement: Making Active Labour Market Policies Work – has been published in the UK and Australia.
Edited by Dr Jo Ingold and Dr Patrick McGurk, the book is the first of its kind to focus on the employer’s perspective and role in employment programmes.
Chapter 5 – Practice Case Study: Programme Commissioning and Co-opetition in the UK and Australia uses the work of the ReAct Partnership’s Prime Provider Network to examine and demonstrate how providers can work together to develop a model that works for employers and programme participants. Research undertaken for the ReAct paper on Shared Employer Engagement is also referenced in the chapter.
